PC Helper 360

PC Helper 360 is a system optimization tool for Windows. It is just another alternative among the numerous system cleaners that promise to speed up your PC and help you fix the common problems that make it sluggish and unstable.

The application works pretty much like any other PC cleaning tool; it performs a scan of your PC in order to detect junk files, invalid registry entries, temporary files, system errors, malware, etc. After a while, it will display a report with all the errors found, giving you the possibility to select the type of files that will be removed. Unfortunately, that's all the trial version of the app can do: scan your PC and show the results. To complete the clean-up you will need to buy a license.

The app is set to start the scan automatically the first time you launch it, supposedly to simplify the process, but this and other options can be changed in the settings window. Moreover, it includes some extra utilities to improve your PC performance, such as a startup manager, disk defragmenter, process manager, some of which are disabled in the trial. One feature that I found quite curious, and of no real purpose, is the voice notification. It informs you of the scan results and other events using the default TTS voices in your system.

In short, PC Cleaner 360 is just another program in the constantly growing list of PC optimizers. The fact that it includes additional tools and advanced configuration options is a point in its favor.
